Fun and Prophets

These are the prophets, they speak and things change
New worlds are created, old ones rearranged
They serve as the counsellors to God Most High
So prophesy, prophet, prophesy

Adam, Abel, Enoch, Noah,
Abraham, Jacob, Joseph, Balaam,
Moses, Aaron, Miriam, Joshua,
Eldad, Medad, and the seventy elders
Samuel had a group of prophets
Saul (What, Saul?!? Was Saul among the prophets?)
David, Nathan, Gad the Seer
These all prophesied, we hear them

He has not beheld misfortune, nor seen trouble in Israel

Sometimes a prophet has to stand

I don't know about the man next door
He seems different than he was before

She seems quite popular with all the men in town
And to me it just doesn't seem right

Jezreel, Lo-Ruhamah, Lo-Ammi
It's hard to play games with kids of such names
I wonder what he was thinking?

A pretty thing to show No-Mercy (Lo-Ruhamah)
And little Lo-Ammi; Not-My-People, that is he....
And their mother is always gone....

Mom and Dad told us to shun them
No more playing, we are done with them
These neighbours defile us, we feel impure
We think we've been insulted but we're not quite sure....

I don't know about the man next door anymore....

My husband died, and now my son
